Our logistics area can be divided into two larger groups: The classic Logistics and the Warehouse.

The KAISER+KRAFT and Gaerner brands are stored in the Kamp-Lintfort and Pfungstadt mail order centres, the Gerdmans Group has a warehouse in Markaryd (Sweden). The warehouse locations of the individual companies generally work largely independently of each other, although there is regular exchange and, where possible, mutual support.

MAIL ORDER CENTRES KAMP-LINTFORT AND PFUNGSTADT

Quality sits here

The German mail order centres Kamp-Lintfort (approx. 55 employees) and Pfungstadt (approx. 35 employees) have the task of supplying the German and European markets with stock goods from the KAISER+KRAFT and Gaerner group assortments, as well as performing a consolidation function for the foreign markets consisting of transit shipments and warehouse shipments. Our aim is that the customer receives the goods as quickly as possible, ideally within 24 hours.

In our two mail order centres, Kamp-Lintfort and Pfungstadt, we mainly store merchandise, but also products from our in-house manufacturing, which is located in Haan. From our mail order centres we ship the goods to our German and European customers.
In addition to supplying the German and European markets and the customs warehouse in China with KAISER+KRAFT EUROPA Group product lines, we carry out a consolidation function consisting of transit and warehouse shipments in the mail order centres for foreign markets.

LOGISTICS

The way is our goal

We are responsible for transporting goods from the suppliers to the mail order centres and for transporting them from our mail order centres to our customers and subsidiaries.

IT

Multi-faceted, user-oriented, trendsetting

Almost all IT services for every sales company in the group throughout Europe are provided or controlled centrally by KAISER+KRAFT EUROPA in Stuttgart or UBEN GmbH in Waldkirchen. As an internal service provider, our IT division is thus responsible for all operational and strategic IT issues within the group and also offers IT services for other parts of the TAKKT Group. As the cornerstone of the digital transformation of our company, our IT department is also developing rapidly. In addition to personnel development, the introduction of new technologies and the continuous improvement of methods and processes, it is particularly important to understand the needs of our customers and to jointly develop suitable solutions.

Around 60 colleagues work in the IT department of KAISER+KRAFT EUROPA in Stuttgart. UBEN GmbH has been working for KAISER+KRAFT EUROPA since the early nineties and has been a part of it since 2012. With its location in Waldkirchen in the Bavarian Forest and 14 employees, Uben GmbH offers the application developers working there a familiar atmosphere and, in particular, a high recreational value for nature lovers.

Our finance department mainly includes controlling and accounting. Due to the necessary proximity to the business and the many different local legal conditions, the tasks of the finance department are both decentralised and centralised. This means that, depending on the size of the individual unit, the commercial tasks are usually mapped locally or regionally. They are supported methodically and systematically from the head office in Stuttgart and analyses and reports are consolidated for the individual regions, sales brand groups and group-wide. This means that the activities in the commercial area of our group of companies often have to be placed in a group-wide and international context and therefore offer many employees exciting insights, exchange of experience and perspectives.

In concrete terms, controlling has the task of supporting the respective management in the management of the business by providing information, analysing business figures and drawing up recommendations for the further development of the business in exchange with the Management. In addition to the specific requirements for the individual companies’; business, key recurring processes in all companies include operational planning, monthly and quarterly internal reporting and the preparation of annual forecasts.

Our accounting tasks usually include accounts receivable accounting, credit checks, dunning, invoice postings, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, etc.

In our two mail order centres, Kamp-Lintfort and Pfungstadt, we mainly store merchandise, but also products from our in-house manufacturing, which is located in Haan. From our mail order centres we ship the goods to our German and European customers.
In addition to supplying the German and European markets and the customs warehouse in China with KAISER+KRAFT EUROPA Group product lines, we carry out a consolidation function consisting of transit and warehouse shipments in the mail order centres for foreign markets.

We are responsible for transporting goods from the suppliers to the mail order centres and for transporting them from our mail order centres to our customers and subsidiaries.
Team Logistics – Our main tasks

  • Preparation of freight quotations and checking of freight invoices/credit notes
  • Use of transport service providers (forwarding agents) incl. price negotiations
  • Purchase of freight space and downstream services e.g. assembly/disposal
  • Market and competition observation
  • Claim management and review of dispatch routes

The Logistics division in the service holding company of KAISER+KRAFT EUROPA at the Stuttgart headquarters ensures that strategic logistics processes run optimally. To this end, freight services are purchased for the transport of goods, external service providers are managed, the sales companies are supported in order processing and optimum availability of goods in stock is ensured.

IT

Multi-faceted, user-oriented, trendsetting

Almost all IT services for every sales company in the group throughout Europe are provided or controlled centrally by KAISER+KRAFT EUROPA in Stuttgart or UBEN GmbH in Waldkirchen. As an internal service provider, our IT division is thus responsible for all operational and strategic IT issues within the group and also offers IT services for other parts of the TAKKT Group. As the cornerstone of the digital transformation of our company, our IT department is also developing rapidly. In addition to personnel development, the introduction of new technologies and the continuous improvement of methods and processes, it is particularly important to understand the needs of our customers and to jointly develop suitable solutions.

Around 60 colleagues work in the IT department of KAISER+KRAFT EUROPA in Stuttgart. UBEN GmbH has been working for KAISER+KRAFT EUROPA since the early nineties and has been a part of it since 2012. With its location in Waldkirchen in the Bavarian Forest and 14 employees, Uben GmbH offers the application developers working there a familiar atmosphere and, in particular, a high recreational value for nature lovers.

Finance

number-oriented, analytical, accurate

Our finance department mainly includes controlling and accounting. Due to the necessary proximity to the business and the many different local legal conditions, the tasks of the finance department are both decentralised and centralised. This means that, depending on the size of the individual unit, the commercial tasks are usually mapped locally or regionally. They are supported methodically and systematically from the head office in Stuttgart and analyses and reports are consolidated for the individual regions, sales brand groups and group-wide. This means that the activities in the commercial area of our group of companies often have to be placed in a group-wide and international context and therefore offer many employees exciting insights, exchange of experience and perspectives.

In concrete terms, controlling has the task of supporting the respective management in the management of the business by providing information, analysing business figures and drawing up recommendations for the further development of the business in exchange with the Management. In addition to the specific requirements for the individual companies’; business, key recurring processes in all companies include operational planning, monthly and quarterly internal reporting and the preparation of annual forecasts.

Our accounting tasks usually include accounts receivable accounting, credit checks, dunning, invoice postings, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, etc.

The finance department at the head office in Stuttgart is also responsible for the exchange with our parent company TAKKT AG and the requirements placed on a listed group.
